[l2h] Why images cannot be generated?

Dear all,

Following Ross Moore's suggestion, I carefully checked the output of "test -debug" and found more clues. The following is the output of the process of one image:

Error while converting image

Error: Cannot read 'img3.gif': No such file or directory


PS: I have also tested Darrell's suggestions, but my problem still remains. In fact, I know every item mentioned by Darrell except the one about the file ".latex2html-init". But I find the changes on ".latex2html-init" made no any influence on the generated HTML in my computer (Win2000+MiKTeX 2.2.6).
