[Indic-dev] Latex Workshop at Pune in June 2003

Hi,

It is a nice idea. Would it not be nicer to conduct the course in
linux? True, the participants may not be familiar with linux but they are 
expected to be technically competent so thay can pick up linux on the way. 

I wonder if the graphics sessions are going to include gnuplot, xfig
and/or such graphics/drafting packages. True, one can do some graphics in
latex but these packages are useful for drawing nice figures, plotting
data as well as functions. I would suggest these be included. I would be
able to make some contribution in this area but would not like to commit
at this stage.

Please keep me posted on the developments.
