Some thing related to TeX that happen at ILUG-Delhi meet:

==================================================================

Prof Wagish Shukla of IIT Maths Department, who is the author of two
books that use Devnagari, Sanskrit, Arabic and English and which have
been completely set in TeX, did a short presentation on using TeX for
Devnagari, Sanskrit and Arabic. We hope that he will give a longer
presentation at the next meet. Prof Shukla also outlined some
problems that he is having with using the three language packages
simultaneously and hoped that ILUG-Delhi would be able to help him
find a solution.

Prof Shukla told us about a new bilingual magazine (LILA) that the
Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya is publishing.
LILA, which will be available under a free document license, is to be
launched shortly.

This was followed by a discussion on Tex because of some problems
faced by Professor Shukla in his work. A discussion on Tex and Indian
Language fonts is in the pipeline, and would most probably be
taken up by Sandip in the next meeting(hehehe Sandip, thanks for
volunteering).
