Following the question about format files I answered yesterday, I realized that the appendix about web2c-7.0 doesn't mention where it puts the format files. It just mentions |/share/texmf| as the TDS root, but not |/share/texmf/web2c| below it. I think this really *needs* to be added to avoid more future questions. Cheers, Ulrik.
